Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele has made an ambitious projection for her latest movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa. The actress said the movie, which is set to be released in cinemas this December, is projected to gross N5 billion.

When achieved, this will be a record-beater, as her previous blockbuster, A Tribe Called Judah, had entered history books as the first Nigerian movie to gross N1 billion.

With Akindele’s history of making interesting films, both her fans and critics are keenly waiting to see if Everybody Loves Jenifa can reset a new record in box office performance for Nigeria.
