Glen Johnson, ex Liverpool defender has said that Chelsea should either sell or loan out Connor Gallagher, Chelsea’s Midfielder during their January transfer window.

Gallagher who was loaned last season to Crystal palace ended up being named crystal palace player of the year 2021-22, as he scored 8 goals in 34 games in last season’s premier league.

Since his return back to Chelsea, Gallagher has had limited opportunities to play for the club, in all their six games.

According to Johnson, Chelsea should let go of the player or loan him out for another season, as the player clearly enjoyed his time at Crystal palace.

He further said that he prefers that Chelsea loan out the player and decide on his fate at the end of the season.

“I don’t think in terms of leaving the club, but another season on loan for Gallagher would have been great for him,” Johnson told SafeBettingSites.

“Personally I would have liked him to carry on his development, he was clearly enjoying himself.

“I’d rather have Chelsea have let him go back out on loan and then re-evaluate the situation at the end of the season.”

Connor John Gallagher is an English Soccer player who plays as a Midfielder for Chelsea and the England national team.
