If we can recall, several reports circulated on Tuesday stating that PSG’S forward Kylian Mbappe wants to take his leave from the club in the January transfer window, after signing a three-year deal with the club in May.
Christopher Galtier, PSG’S manager has debunked such reports as he branded them as ‘rumors’.
According to Galtier, it’s a rumor that he doesn’t want to comment on, seeing how the media has turned such Rumours into the news.
He further said that Mbappe’s goal on Tuesday, at their Champions League match against Benefica is enough to debunk such rumors. And it’s quite weird that such reports were circulated some hours before their match against Benefica.
“I can’t comment on it,” he told Canal+. “From a rumor, we turned it into news and almost a statement.
“Kylian, therefore, had a very good answer: he was a scorer; he could have scored a second goal. He gritted his teeth after this nasty tackle. I see Kylian, who gave a certain response to this rumor.
“I find it strange that it [the rumor]comes out a few moments before such an important match for the club.”
Kylian Mbappe scored in PSG’S match against Benefica in the Champions League, though the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
