Former Speaker and now Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, is likely to submit his resignation letter as a lawmaker on the floor of the House of Representatives today, June 14.
It is presumed that the former Speaker’s resignation is to enable him to focus more on the task of serving as Chief of Staff as there have been concerns on how he would oversee both roles.
It turns out that theres no cause for alarm as exclusive information from caried sources have revealed that the House of Reps Member representing Surulere 1 will be offering his resignation letter today on the floor.
If this turns out to be the case, INEC will have to conduct fresh elections to fill the role that Gbajabiamila would leave behind.
