Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager believes that the newly sacked Aston Villa manager, Steven Gerrard will bounce back.

Gerrard’s sack wasn’t surprising at all, as everyone saw it coming, considering that he only registered two wins after 11 matches this season. Villa finally had to let Gerrad go after they suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Fulham on Thursday night.

Speaking on this, Klopp said that he knows that Gerrad will bounce back from this, as he discussed with Gerrad earlier in the day. Klopp further said that he knows how disappointing it is for him, considering the goals he has set for himself, but Gerrard will recover from this.

He also said that it’s not a new thing in their profession, as several managers go through tough times. Klopp also said that he desires Gerrad uses this period to rest and recharge back

“I’m very sure he will be back. I’ve always followed him so we had a little exchange this morning, nothing too deep.

“I can imagine it’s disappointing for him because of the ambitions he had. But I don’t think we need to worry about Stevie, he knows the game, and these things can happen.

“In life we all get knocks, it’s about how we respond. He’s always come back before and he will come back from this.

“A lot of great managers out there have had to leave clubs for whichever reason and show up somewhere else, learn from it, and find a better situation.

“He will be back but I hope he takes some time as well. He’s been working pretty much all the time since he stopped playing so maybe he can take some time to recharge.”

Gerrard himself said that he’ll not let this weigh him down as he is a tough man. Aston Villa ranks 17th on the premier league table
