It would be very accurate to say, that Ghana brought their A-game into the world cup, despite the fact they lost 3-2 to Portugal in their world cup opener, they were a formidable team. Well, they proved their worth, as they sustained a slim 3-2 win against South Korea Monday.

Mohammed Salisu scored the first goal in the 24th minute, putting Ghana in the lead, Mohammed Kudus doubled their lead in the 34th minute, through a beautiful header.

South Korea didn’t despair as they reduced the scoreline to 2-1, in the 54th minute through Jo Gue Sung’s header, and Jo Gue Sung equalized for South Korea in the 61st minute through another header.

Ghana however scored another goal, through Mohammed Kudu’s low dive strike in the 68th minute, giving Ghana Victory over the match. Ghana will be facing Uruguay in their final group H Game.
