Asamoah Gyan, ex-Black Stars captain believes that the only way Ghana can succeed in the 2022 World cup game in Qatar, is for them to have a unique pattern of play.
He made this statement in an interview, after praising the team for their fantastic performance in their two friendly matches.
The international break ended with Ghana recording one win in the two friendly matches they played, they were thrashed 3-0 by Brazil at the Stade Oceane in France and recorded a 1-0 victory over Nicaragua on Sept 27 at Estadio Fransisco Artes Carrasco in Spain.
According to Gyan, Ghana needs a solid and well-defined pattern of play, though they have fantastic players, they need to find a unique system that the club will fit perfectly into.
Gyan said, “Ghana needs to identify one strong system and master it,
“We have good players but we need to find the right system and be very good at it. We can make tweaks when necessary but we need one system that we are very good at.”
Ghana shares Category H with Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea. The black Stars of Ghana have only crossed the group stages in the FIFA World Cup twice.
