Emeka Rollas, the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has revealed a personal health ordeal that lasted nearly two decades.
While speaking during a session of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPDD), led by Pastor Jerry Eze, the 51-year-old disclosed that a tiny shard of glass had been stuck in his head since a helicopter crash in 2006.
According to him, although he received treatment after the accident, a fragment remained embedded in his scalp, causing occasional discomfort. He said the idea of going under the knife again frightened him, having previously undergone several surgeries.
“Sometimes I’ll be advised to go for a minor surgery to get it removed. But because I’ve had about four surgeries on health issues, I usually get scared,” he said.
Rollas shared that he began turning to prayer for healing and regularly joined Pastor Eze’s online services, particularly drawing strength from the communion sessions.
“So each time, Pastor Jerry will say, this communion is for anything that is not of God, that is inside you, should be flushed out. I key into that particular statement during the communion,” he said.
He noted that last month, he started feeling a slight bulge on the side of his scalp. Over time, he sensed something sharp beneath the skin and suspected it was the long-lost glass.
A visit to the hospital offered no clear answers, as the doctor thought it was a boil. However, Rollas trusted his instincts.
Not long after, while eating dinner with one of his children, he experienced a sudden release.
“And then I came home one evening, I was just about to take dinner with one of my kids, and I rubbed my head, and all of a sudden, the piece of glass just fell off and fell on the dining table. And this is here, so tiny glass, but it has been here for 19 good years.”
Reflecting on the experience, he gave credit to God and expressed gratitude to Pastor Eze.
“I want to thank the Lord for this miracle. I want to thank Pastor Jerry, let the oil on your head never run dry.”
