Orlando City SC, a Major League Soccer team, has made official the signing of French footballing idol Antoine Griezmann. The forward will only join the club after finishing the current season with Atlético Madrid.
Griezmann, who was part of the France team that won the World Cup in 2018, has signed a contract for two years with the possibility of extending up to the 2028/29 season. This transfer marks the end of a fascinating period in Spain where Griezmann has become one of the greatest players in Atletico’s history.

Griezmann, who has been with Atletico after transferring from Real Sociedad in 2014, is departing as the club’s top scorer with 211 goals in 488 matches. However, he still has the possibility of winning more trophies this season, as Atletico is present in both the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League.
