The unknown gunmen of Nigeria have struck again, as Popular businessman Segun Oparinde, was kidnapped at the entrance of his residence at Imeko Afon Local Government in Ogun state.
Oparinde’s inlaw who heard the fracas outside rushed out to help his inlaw, but unfortunately, he got shot.
The Kidnappers forced Oparinde into his car and Zoomed off to an unknown location, when they arrived at their location, they abandoned the vehicle and took him into the bush.
According to an undisclosed witness, the inlaw has been taken to the hospital for Medical treatment, and they’ve contacted all available security agencies for assistance.
He said, “His in-law, Bello Ibrahim, who was shot, is receiving treatment at the Imeko General Hospital. His vehicle was later seen this morning at Igbo Ifa Iwa Street, Imeko town.
“It was abandoned in the main town. They have dragged him (Oparinde) into the bush. We are yet to get any help from security agencies. We have called the police and the Amotekun Corps. We want the government to help us rescue him.”
The State spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi has asked for more time to give details to news respondents.
