The 35-year-old actress, now pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing at Oxford University, was fined £1,044 at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court following the incident.

Watson was driving her blue Audi at 38mph in a 30mph zone on July 31 last year, pushing her over the legal limit for penalty points. The court heard she already had nine points on her license before the latest offense, triggering the automatic six-month driving ban.
