Years of heartache, agony, and disappointment have transformed into glory and joy for Arsenal as Arteta has guided his side back to the top of the English game, following a 22-year wait to lift a Premier League trophy.

Dec 2019 will forever remain Arsenal’s lowest point as they stood in the lower half of the table, having been completely battered by a Manchester City side, but not only that, the Arsenal faithful were left dispirited by their club’s lack of leadership and disunity.

On arriving, Arteta vowed to improve standards, discipline, and to form a better relationship between players and fans. It was an instant reset that was slow and painstaking, which eventually led to two 8th-place finishes consecutively, but this was not something Arteta feared, as he was determined to build a strong young identity of a club with an ambitious spirit and a talented set of players.

How Arsenal Rose From Humiliation to Premier League Champions

Young stars like Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, and William Saliba became heroes to this young identity, which could now win major trophies, supported by additions like Declan Rice, who saw them reach the absolute peak.

The completion of their journey, finishing third in the league for the last three consecutive seasons, has now ended with this league title, which is the first time since 2004 and their ‘Invincibles’ triumph.
