The management of popular social media influencer Mukoro Michelle, widely known as King Mitchy, has announced her passing.
In an emotional statement released about an hour ago, her management disclosed that all efforts by doctors at Prime Hospital, Abuja, to save her life were unsuccessful, as her condition was described as critical.
Expressing deep sorrow, the team noted that Mitchy was more than just a talent, describing her as a vibrant soul filled with love, light, and dreams.
“We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle has passed on.

Despite all efforts from the medical team here in Abuja, we were told her condition was critical, and sadly, she could not be revived.
This is an incredibly painful moment for us. Michi was more than a talent; she was family, full of life, light, and dreams.
We ask for your prayers, love, and understanding during this difficult time. Please also respect the privacy of her family and loved ones as we try to process this loss.
Further information will be shared when appropriate.
Rest in peace, Michhelle. You will never be forgotten.
If you know the Prime Hospital in Abuja, help us beg them to do something to save her. Her mother has fainted in Lagos already and has been taken to a hospital also.
Management.”
The tragic news comes just hours after Mitchy reportedly consumed substances following intense backlash and online bullying linked to her public dispute with Nigerian social media critic VeryDarkMan.
Reports indicate that the duo had been engaged in a heated exchange over school renovation projects. Mitchy had accused the activist of seeking publicity and claimed she personally renovated a school within six days. She also challenged him to provide ₦50 million so she could renovate four schools.
The controversy reportedly escalated, leading to Mitchy losing her business page. She further alleged that VeryDarkMan questioned the source of her funds and made inappropriate accusations about her character.
In an attempt to defend herself, Mitchy had shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with the Ooni of Ife, in which he reportedly praised her humanitarian efforts.
Her sudden death has triggered an outpouring of shock, grief, and condolences across social media, with many calling for kindness, accountability, and stronger action against cyberbullying.
