Former Big Brother Naija star, Kiddwaya, has revealed that his father, Terry Waya, was the one who discovered the now-famous Banana Island in Lagos.
The reality TV star made the disclosure during a recent episode of the Off The Record podcast. At one point, the host asked him, “I heard that your dad discovered Banana Island. Is that correct?”
Kiddwaya responded, “Yeah, I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips.”
Terry Waya, who describes himself as a billionaire, is known for investments across real estate, agriculture, and hospitality. His public profile grew significantly during and after Kiddwaya’s stint on Big Brother Naija in 2020.
