Billionaire businessman and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko, has spoken out for the first time regarding his alleged marital issues with Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels. In a lengthy statement shared on his verified social media handle, Nwoko accused Regina’s siblings and close friends of sabotaging her recovery process from alleged substance addiction.
According to the Delta North Senator, Regina’s brother, Sammy West, alongside some of her associates, introduced her to illegal substances and constantly disrupted medical efforts aimed at helping her recover.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around,” Nwoko stated.
He revealed that despite his support for Regina’s family, their actions have caused him distress. “This is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma. I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, and even transferred ₦125 million to their mother, Rita Daniels, in the last two years,” he claimed.
Nwoko further alleged that medical experts had advised restricting certain people from visiting Regina during her rehabilitation period, but her siblings and friends—including Destiny, Sonia Uche Montana, and others—disobeyed the directive.
“Instead of helping her recover, they encouraged her addiction and completely frustrated the efforts of doctors and therapists. Lawrence, Sammy, Destiny, and others also took the same drugs as Regina and even supplied them to her,” he alleged.
The senator went on to narrate several troubling incidents, including one where Regina allegedly stayed out all night and ignored his calls. “On one occasion, she left the house and didn’t return until 9 a.m., saying she was at a nightclub. When I asked why, she said, ‘You are not my father, so don’t ask me where I was,’” he recounted.
Nwoko also accused Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, of downplaying her daughter’s behavior, claiming she described it as part of the “celebrity lifestyle.” He said her siblings’ constant interference made their home atmosphere “toxic and tense.”
“Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover, only to have the process sabotaged by her siblings and friends. Each time progress was made, they would undo it by smuggling in the same drugs she was fighting to give up,” he lamented.
Addressing circulating rumors that he sent thugs to assault Regina, Nwoko denied the allegations, clarifying that the viral video of her being taken away was recorded “in front of my house in my absence.”
“Nobody was beaten. It’s false to say that I sent thugs to beat Regina in another house. The video that went viral was filmed entirely in front of my property by Regina’s sister and her friend. It was a pure Nollywood scenario,” he stated.
The businessman also disclosed that he had funded Regina’s brother, Lawrence, with $75,000 to study in London, but claimed Sammy rejected a similar opportunity and later got into trouble with law enforcement agencies.
“Sammy has since been arrested several times by both the police and EFCC. What he needs now is total rehabilitation and professional guidance,” Nwoko concluded.
