Omah Lay’s personal hit song “Soso” has been subject to a lot of criticism, even though the song was a hit, many considered it demonic, due to its weird and deep lyrics, some fans even advised close friends of Omah Lay to check up on him and pray for him.

What most people didn’t know is that the song was inspired by his mental state and the situation around him.

According to him, he was not in a good state when he wrote the song, he was depressed and was smoking too much, Nothing seemed special in life again.

“I  was in pain, so much pain when I was writing this song. I was just in a place where I was losing my mind. “I was smoking a lot, way too much. I was down. there was nothing in life that was nice at the time.”

His state then inspired and birthed the song “Soso”.
