Pope Francis who has been in the hospital for three say due to a bronchitis infection, moved into the Gemelil hospital on Wednesday after suffering difficulty in breathing, that however did not stall his duty as there were reports that he shared Easter eggs at the children’s cancer ward and even baptized a baby on Friday.
He was discharged on Saturday, April 1st and he jokingly told journalists and well-wishers outside that he is still alive before moving to the Vatican to prepare for the Easter week, reports have it that he’ll preside over Palm Sunday mass in St Peter’s square.
Pope Francis underwent colon surgery in 2021, making this his second hospitalization since his surgery.
