Former Prime Minister Imran Khan faces charges under the Official Secrets Act, accused of disclosing a secret diplomatic cable during his tenure.
Khan, who pleaded not guilty, denounces the charges as “null and fabricated.”
His arrest in August stemmed from allegations that he revealed a confidential diplomatic communication, using it to shape a narrative about a foreign conspiracy leading to his government’s ousting.
The indictment also involves former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, both of whom assert their innocence in the case heard at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi by special court judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain.
