Abdullahi Sule, the Nasarawa State Governor, has won his re-election bid after he was announced the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
Professor Tanko Ishaya, the Returning Officer for the governorship election in Nasarawa state had declared that Sule, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had polled 347,209 votes to defeat David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had scored 283,016 votes.
Meanwhile, the PDP has promised to challenge Sule’s victory in court.
