Well-known comedian and activist, Adebowale Adedayo, popularly identified as Mr. Macaroni has remarked that insecurity in Lagos State has worsened under the tenure of the present governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Macaroni while remarking on his verified Twitter handle on Monday morning had also bemoaned the staggering levels of oppression, brutality, and extra-judicial killings in the state. He had then gone on blast the governor for not being able to influence the police.
The above reaction was because of the recent incident of a female lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, who was fatally shot by a policeman in the Ajah area of Lagos State on Christmas Day.
The deceased had been trying to make a U-turn under the Ajah Bridge when the cop shot at her vehicle, hitting the victim in the process. The victim had then been rushed to a hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
