Club football has been put on hold as we draw closer to the 2022 Qatar World Cup Qualifiers are being held across the various regions of the world.
Only 4 teams have qualified so far with Qatar sealing their qualification spot as the hosts. Germany was the first team to qualify, they did so after a 4-0 win over North Macedonia. Brazil standing as the first South American team to qualify, Denmark booked their spot in the World Cup after a 3-1 win over Faroe Island.
The weekend has been filled with beautiful games across the African and European continent.
Current world Champions, France, ran a riot against Kazakhstan. Mbappe scoring a brace in the first half and scored again in the 87th minute to bring his goal tally for that match to 4, Benzema brace and Griezman goal. The final score was 8-0.
Belgium put 3 past Estonia but were unable to keep a clean sheet (Belgium 3-1 Estonia).
Netherland were held to a 2-2 draw away from home against Montenegro with Depay scoring a Brace. Belarus couldn’t stand the heat against Wales as they succumbed to a 5-1 defeat, Aaron Ramsey bagging a brace.

Somewhere on the continent of Africa, Nigeria took a win home against Liberia, scoring two penalties to make the final score 0-2.
Equatorial Guinea managed a 1-0 win over Tunisia, while Cape Verde put 2 past Central African Republic bringing the scores to 2-1 in favor of the Central African country.
Cameroon and Zambia scored 4 goals respectively against Malawi and Mauritania.
