The indigenous people of Biafra have canceled their planned sit-at-home exercise which was scheduled to hold on Thursday, 26th of May, 2022.
Emma Powerful, IPOB media and publicity secretary, said in an announcement that the sit-at-home was canceled because Nnamdi Kalu’s trial had been moved from Thursday the 26th of May to the 28th of June.
The statement also went further to explain the reason for the move of the court case. It said that the case was shifted because the judge, Justice Binta Nyako, was under the weather, hence the case had to be adjourned.
Emma Powerful urged everyone to remain calm and keep their eye on the ball which was to see to the freedom of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu. He begged them to not relent in their prayers and also appreciated them for their unwavering support.
