Iran Launches Massive Missile Barrage Against Israel, 17 Injured

Iran retaliated against Israel with hundreds of ballistic missiles on Friday, following a sweeping Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear and military sites. The attack, which Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described as a response to Israel’s aggression, saw 100 ballistic missiles fired, with five to seven breaching Israel’s missile defense shield.

Casualties and Damage

According to Israel emergency services, 17 people are feared to be injured in the attack. The Israeli military has activated its air defenses, with the Iron Dome system firing to intercept incoming missiles.
