Shahram Irani, head of Iran’s navy, stated that the Talaeiyeh cruise missile, surpassing 1,000 km in range, is a sophisticated weapon capable of changing targets mid-mission. The navy’s augmented arsenal now includes reconnaissance helicopters, drones, and marine cruise missiles, all domestically crafted within Iran’s military industry.
The U.S. Department of Defense reported a drone, allegedly from Iran, striking a Liberian-flagged chemical tanker in the Indian Ocean, heightening regional tensions.
