Members of the Islamic State West African Province, -ISWAP, have purportedly killed a Boko Haram commander in charge of Sambisa and Gwoza enclaves in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to news reports, Alhaji Ali, one of the deadliest terrorist leaders in the Northeast, was gunned down on Sunday, October 1 when ISWAP fighters waylaid him.
A security source had informed Daily Trust newspapers that Ali had slaun several victims in Sambisa and some other parts of Borno State, before his met his death on Sunday.
The source had said:
“He had been the deputy of the late Ali Ngulde, and no one except for Shekau had killed human beings the way he did, from Sambisa forest and Bayan Dutsen Gwoza.”
