The Nigerian Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has apparently returned to social media after a temporary absence.
Recall that Iwobi had deleted all his Instagram page posts after the heavy criticism and trolling that greeted his performance at the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
The 27-year-old was heavily trolled and cyberbullied by Nigerian fans after the Super Eagles’ 2-1 final defeat to the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
The Fulham star, had no doubt, during one of his lowest moments, received support from his teammates, the Nigeria Football Federation and Sports Ministry as well as from some fans.
Presently, Iwobi has shared a video on Instagram giving his fans and followers a glimpse of what he has been up to in recent times.
He had additionally teased a snippet of what appears to be his unreleased rap song in the video.
Some of his teammates including the captain, William Troost-Ekong, Frank Onyeka, and Kenneth Omeruo were seen in the comment section showing their support to him
