Award-winning Nigerian filmmaker Jade Osiberu has announced the arrival of her first child, a baby boy, revealing that the joyful milestone happened in August during her 40th year.
Sharing the news via Instagram, Osiberu reflected on how profoundly her life has changed and credited God for fulfilling a long-held promise.
She wrote, “08/08/2025 – My life changed forever. God said in your 40th year, I will complete you. God really does make all things beautiful in His time.”
Describing motherhood as a deeply transformative experience, the filmmaker said the journey has humbled her and strengthened her faith. According to her, God’s mercy and favor have been evident throughout the process. She added, “God has shown me so much mercy and favor… To say I feel seen and loved by God would be an understatement… I feel like His favorite child.”
Osiberu also offered prayers for her son, Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, asking for divine guidance, wisdom, peace, protection, and lasting favor over his life as he grows.
