Jamie Foxx, the acclaimed actor and musician, has finally shared his near-death experience in 2023. The 56-year-old actor, in a new special for Netflix, has shared that he had suffered a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke, putting him in a coma for 20 days.
Foxx recalled the terrifying moment back on April 11, 2023, when a sudden headache signaled the beginning of the ordeal. “I asked my boy for an aspirin, but before I could take it, I blacked out. I don’t remember the next 20 days,” he said.
He was rushed to Piedmont Hospital, where doctors diagnosed the brain bleed. By the time he finally awoke, Foxx found himself in a wheelchair, unable to walk.
“It’s still a mystery,” he said of the cause of the health scare. “We don’t know exactly what happened to me.
