Jamie Foxx recently opened up to fans about experiencing a “bad headache” before a mystery illness that he admitted took him “to hell and back.” The Oscar-winning actor was seen chatting with fans in downtown Phoenix, addressing his health scare. Foxx was reportedly taken ill in Atlanta while filming “Back In Action” with Cameron Diaz.
In December, Foxx made his first major public appearance since his hospitalization, attending the Critics Choice Awards where he received the Vanguard Award for his performance in the comedy-drama “The Burial.”
Throughout his recovery, Foxx has kept a low profile, but in a video shared last summer, he revealed the extent of his ordeal in the hospital, explaining he didn’t want fans to see him with tubes and was unsure if he would survive.
Foxx, who is also a comedian and singer, expressed that he prefers fans to see him “laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie.” The film he was working on when he fell ill is set to be released in November.
