American singer Jason Derulo has declared that he will never again be alone in a room with a female colleague, citing the fallout from a nearly two-year sexual harassment lawsuit.
In an interview with Graham Bensinger, Derulo said the legal battle, despite being dismissed in two other jurisdictions, has already cost him millions in brand deals and professional opportunities.

“I will never be alone in a room with a woman that I work with… ever, ever again. That case was dismissed twice. And I lost so many brand deals, relationships off of a story that was not even slightly believable. Why didn’t they post the dismissal at least? Wouldn’t that be fair?” he said.
The comments come as aspiring singer Emaza Dilan has refiled her sexual harassment lawsuit against Derulo in New York, following prior dismissals in California and Nevada on procedural grounds.
Although no court has yet ruled on the merits of the claims, Derulo explained that the ongoing allegations have already forced him to rethink his professional conduct around women, impacting both his career and personal interactions.
