Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has addressed women who believe they are entitled to their partners’ wealth and insist they will only date or marry the rich.
Speaking on the matter, Osunde described such thinking as unrealistic, especially given the current economic climate. She questioned why women with this mindset fantasize about dating wealthy men instead of striving to earn their own income.
“’Work his ass off for money’. Wetin do your own ass? You don’t want to work? In this economy? It’s like some of you think we’re still living in Bible times,” she wrote on her X handle.
Osunde also reminded her followers that there are not enough billionaires in the world for every woman to live as a rich housewife. She urged women to engage in productive ventures rather than depending on someone else’s wealth: “My good sis, there’s not enough billionaires in the world for all of us to be housewives. You better go and look for work.”
