Christiana Ronaldo’s team-mate Jose Fonte gave possible reasons why Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United.

As Ronaldo told the club, he wants to leave this summer due to Manchester United’s poor performance in the 2021/23 season. Ronaldo tried his best for the team which made him United’s top scorer with 24 goals. Despite his efforts, the whole team did miserably in the Premier League that just ended.

Ronaldo is not happy with the 25 percent pay cut. The chances of the club winning a trophy despite participating in the Europa League are slim. Speaking to a news anchor, Jose said

“The man loves the Champions League, he values the Champions League very much and believes it is the best competition in the world. He has to perform to win his Ballon d’Or.

“He has to win trophies to be able to fight for those trophies, Ballon d’Or. He wants to win, he’s a serial winner as everyone knows.

“So he could look at the team and think if I can win some titles and trophies this year? Maybe he doesn’t believe it, I don’t know, only he can tell.”

It was also reported that the five-time Balon D’ or Sieger skipped training as he missed training for the fourth time under new coach Erik Ten Hag’s regime. There are rumors that He will go to Chelsea this summer as the owner of Chelsea has spoken to agent George Mendes and Chelsea are said to be transferring a £ 15 million bid to Manchester United. Because the club no longer wants to sadden Ronaldo by staying.
