The Head of Corporate Communication for KADIRS, Mr Zakari Muhammad, had revealed this information during a press conference in Kaduna on Wednesday, August 16.
According to Muhammad, the criminals were accosted on August 9 during a joint operation along Muhammadu Buhari Way in Kaduna North Local Government Area of the state.

Muhammad had said that the act breached Section 51 of the Kaduna State Tax Codification and Consolidation Law, 2020, which outlaws cash collection for the sake of dues/levies.
The suspects have been handed over to the authorities for further inquiry and prosecution, according to Zakari Muhammad.
The joint operation was a part of the acting Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Mr Jerry Adam’s plan and agenda to restoring taxpayers’ confidence in the government and the security system, which according to him, was being achieved through purging and promoting transparency in the state’s tax administration systems.
The statement had ended with the tax revenue service encouraging the Kaduna State residents to report the activities of illicit tax or revenue collectors to the proper channels.
