In a distressing incident, suspected bandits targeted the parish House of Saint Raphael’s Catholic Church at Fadan Kamantan, Zangon Kataf LGA, resulting in a devastating loss.

They set the parish house ablaze, reducing it to ashes, and did not spare a vehicle and motorcycle parked on the premises.
Tragically, in the midst of this terrifying ordeal, a seminarian named Stephen Danlami lost his life due to the suffocating smoke as he tried to flee the engulfing inferno. However, there were reports of miraculous escapes for two other priests who were inside the parish house.
