Lauren Pisciotta, the 36-year-old former assistant to Kanye West, remains in hiding and living in fear as her sexual assault lawsuit against the rapper heads to court next month. In an exclusive interview with the BBC, her lawyer Arick Fudali revealed Pisciotta has deleted her online presence and is “just sort of sitting around and hiding” as she awaits the civil trial against West, who has vehemently denied all allegations.
The lawsuit, first filed in June 2024, accuses West of sexual harassment, assault, rape, and sex trafficking —claims the rapper dismisses as “fantasy fiction.”
In an amended complaint filed July 2025, Pisciotta alleges she became the target of a coordinated “swatting” campaign—where false police reports trigger armed raids—just days after her initial lawsuit. One incident involved the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office storming her Florida home under the false pretense she had murdered her mother. She also claims to have received threatening calls warning her to drop the case, intensifying her fears.
The lawsuit paints a disturbing picture of Pisciotta’s time working for West, including an alleged rape incident during the production of his DONDA album. She claims West entered her hotel room, demanded to use her shower, then emerged naked and forced her into oral rape. Additionally, she alleges West recorded sexual encounters with Yeezy staff and sent her the footage, bombarded her with explicit texts about his sexual fantasies, forced employees to draw swastikas and hurled antisemitic slurs at Jewish staff
On Kanye’s Defense: Is It Truly “Fantasy Fiction” or Admission of Guilt?
West’s legal team has categorically denied the allegations, dismissing the lawsuit as a “breathless new instalment of fantasy fiction.” However, Fudali points to West’s own social media posts—including his “Heil Hitler” song and self-proclaimed “walking ‘Me Too’” label—as implied admissions of misconduct. These posts, Fudali says, will be key evidence in court.
