The reality star and Business mogul will be launching her new skincare brand SKKN by Kim later this month after confessing “If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and it would make me look younger, I might. I just might.” She was quoted saying in an interview this past month. “I’ll try anything” she further added.
Undaunted by the millions of popular skincare brands in Korea, the beauty mogul has high hopes for SKKN, her new skincare line. The ingredients for SKKN comprise hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, niacin amide, glycolic and lactic acid, squalene, and shea butter. The Reality star has dabbled in quite a few business ventures including fragrance, makeup, and shapewear. She would be releasing nine products that mirror her thorough skin care regimen. She states that even though her regimen might be rigorous to some, “They are all necessary” she claims. “That’s why I’m here, so I can break it down”. She further states that if any step is to be skipped, it should be the two exfoliators but this depends on one’s skin.
With a hyaluronic acid serum that costs 90$ and a 95$ night oil, the SKKN by Kim products do not come cheap. Altogether, all nine items including cleanser, exfoliator, toner, vitamin c serum, hyaluronic acid serum, face cream, oil drops, eye cream, and night oil total a sum of 630$. Note that all products come with a replacement pod that costs about 15 percent less than the original package. Defending the price tag, Kim Kardashian said
“It is more prestige, and to get the kinds of ingredients that I normally do not miss out on, it was a necessity”. “The products I use that are comparable are more expensive, not comparing anything. I tried to get the quality for the best price that we could, especially the vitamin c serum” she added further.
