Nigerian musician, Daniel Anidugbe aka Kizz Daniel, has announced that he won’t drop any new song until 2026 after his next EP, Uncle K which is due on November 29, 2024.
The announcement came via his X handle on Friday, as the singer wrote thus: “After this I no dey drop anything again until 2026.” The news has stirred reactions from fans, many of whom are pleading with the Buga hitmaker to rescind his decision, telling him how they would miss the flow of songs regularly.
Since his breakout hit, Woju, in 2016, Kizz Daniel has been a powerhouse in the Nigerian music scene. He is known for his musical versatility and his ability to deliver chart-toppers.
The release of Uncle K will be yet another landmark in his glittering career, one which his fans are waiting to witness. This hiatus of two years will surely create a void in the music arena, but many are hopeful that this break will inspire even greater heights when he resumes work in 2026.
