Abdulkareem Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello, of Kogi State has joined the governorship race to replace his boss as the new governor of Kogi State.
Asuku had officially declared his plans to run for the seat when he bought the N50 million nomination form in Abuja yesterday night, February 17.
While addressing newsmen last night, after he had procured the nomination forms, Asuku had acknowledged his boss for uplifting young members of his cabinet to join in the race to replace him.
The hopeful pharmacist-turned-politician had also expressed a strong belief that at age 39, he was both strong-willed, healthy, and ambitious to consolidate on the gains of Bello in the state.
