Vincent Kompany has bemoaned the refereeing after Bayern Munich were sent crashing out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain in a scintillating Champions League semi-final fixture.
Harry Kane did equalize with seconds to spare at the Allianz Arena but that was to no avail as Bayern crashed out by the smallest of margins after the French giants inflicted upon them a dramatic second leg defeat after they slumped after an early goal by Ousmane Dembele.
The Belgian claimed that there were a number of incidents that went against his side and in particular complained when Nuno Mendes was not sent off for a handball that came in the first half of the fixture and also the later penalty claim which was ignored after it was deemed the ball had struck the arm of Joao Neves.

The Bayern boss did admit that the calls made by officials can sometimes make or break a fixture but the string of decisions against his team over the course of both games had proven too decisive in such a narrow encounter.
Luis Enrique looked towards the final where his side will be looking to play Arsenal. He heaped praise on the English giants’ ability to be consistent over the course of this season and he expressed his desire to repeat the feat of two seasons ago when the Parisians won the Champions League.
Bayern can look back and think of where things went wrong on the pitch and they must turn their attentions back to the domestic league.
