Another staff of Kwara State University, Malete, Mr Hameed Adekunle Hanafi has allegedly died.
The late Hanafi, a lecturer and Associate Professor in the institution, had passed on in Ilorin, the state capital on Monday after a short illness.
According to reports, the sad incident is coming less than five days after the death of Abdullahu Olaitan Ayuba, the deputy bursar of the university.
Ayuba, the deputy bursar had died while watching the Nigeria/South Africa AFCON 2024 match on Wednesday, February 7, after he allegedly developed high blood pressure.
The deceased staff, Hanafi, had joined the services of Kwara State University in 2022 and has held numerous positions and lectured in several institutions including, School of Law, Kampala International University, Uganda, Kogi State University, Faculty of Law, Ayigba and Al-Hikamah University, Faculty of Law, Ilorin, amongst others.
The late staff is survived by his wife and children.
