It is very noticeable, that since the Labour party started their election campaign rallies on October 18, they have been so inconsistent with their schedule. The Labour party has postponed its campaign rallies to hold in Ekiti and Ondo State.
According to the party, they had to postpone the rally due to some unavoidable circumstances beyond their control, and they’ll fix a new date for the rally
The statement read, “Due to some unavoidable and unusual circumstances beyond control, our earlier scheduled presidential campaign rally in Ekiti and Ondo for 15th and 16th December 2023 is hereby postponed. A new date will be announced. We regret the inconvenience caused by this.”
All campaign rallies slated to hold in October were canceled, even the campaign rally held in Kogi State yesterday was initially slated to hold on October 23 but was eventually held yesterday.
It’s just some months away from the 2023 Presidential Elections, and the Labour party is slacking in its campaign rallies. Most Nigerians are not happy with their inconsistencies as it suggests that they are unserious with carrying out political activities when compared with other big parties.
Social media has been a very big help to the Labour Party, but it prerequisite that all these activities are carried out promptly in most of the states, as not every person in Nigeria is on social media. When a party trivializes important things of such nature, they are regarded as not serious, or overly confident.
