Over the sad incident that occurred on Tuesday night, where a motor boy died after he was crushed to death, Idowu Owohumwa, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, paid a visit to the area.
This incident occurred in the Apapa area of Lagos State, on Tuesday night.
This revelation was made by the Lagos State Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
According to him, the CP visited the area to conduct an assessment of the incident, which led to the death of the motor boy.
He further said that they have been able to restore calm to the area, and a full investigation as to the incident has begun.
He said, “ONGOING: @LagosPoliceNG CP Idowu Owohunwa carrying out on-the-spot assessment of the situation in Apapa where a ‘motor boy’ was accidentally crushed to death last night.
“Normalcy has been restored to the area while CP Owohunwa has ordered a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.”
