The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has announced that it extinguished the spread of an inferno at a construction site in the Ibeju Lekki area of the state, early Friday morning.
Margaret Adeseye, the Director of the service, had in a statement revealed that the fire started at around 9:48 am at Craneburg Construction Site-Yard, located in old Julius Berger Yard.
The inferno involved sets of metal containers being used as store. They had been prevented from spreading by the Epe ll Fire Crew of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.
The products used for road construction were piled in the containerized store to wrap up the operations.
No injury or death was recorded from the accident.
