The Los Angeles Lakers have also enhanced their offer for free agent Jonathan Kuminga by signing him to a two-year contract worth 20 million dollars, as they continue to reshape their lineup, with this team to be tailored as a suitable fit for the 2020 season.
Kuminga has yet to commit as he stands to earn 20 million dollars annually, but he only averaged 23 million dollars annually last year in the last two years on contract with the Golden State Warriors.
Kuminga is expected, according to rumor, to be a jolt to the Lakers’ wing and to even take a starter’s job at some point.

Last year, the former Warriors had 12.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and also averaged 33.3 percent in shooting from the three-point line last year.
\In the absence of LeBron James, the Lakers are optimistic about his ability on offense and in his averages (16.1 points in the 2023-2024 season), as Lakers’ officers have remained in contact with the 22-year-old and improved their initial offer so he would be the second-best player on the team, but Kuminga is yet to finalize their contract.
Los Angeles Lakers’ management seems set to acquire him, and president Rob Pelinka has been seeking solutions about how the club can improve its payroll so as to secure the young player’s commitment.
