The Camp Nou witnessed a remarkable display from Lamine Yamal who scored his first senior hat-trick leading his side FC Barcelona to a 4-1 home victory over Villarreal CF in the Spanish La Liga.
The young prodigy broke the deadlock first time from a defensive mistake and with coolness converted a low shot into the bottom-left corner after a perfect through ball. He scored again with a spectacular goal as he evaded two defenders from an almost non-existing space and unleashed a powerful shot into the top corner of the goal.

Villarreal tried to revitalize the match in the second half but Lamine Yamal kept the lead with his brilliance. At 20 minutes from time, the 18-year-old boy not only completed his hat-trick but also sealed the game in style by racing into the penalty area and firing across the goal from yet another narrow angle.
His hat-trick was important to Barcelona’s bid for the title. The display was his first brace at the Camp Nou in two years and hence deeply established him as one of the hottest youngsters in Europe.
At the very end, Barcelona put the icing on the cake by netting the fourth goal but it was still Yamal’s genius that overshadowed the game handing the Catalan giants a provisional lead of four points at the summit of the league table.
