Many fans are worried over Lewandowski’s inability to score for his new club Barcelona in their preseason-friendly games since his transfer from Bayern Munich. Xavi Hernadez, the head coach of Barcelona, has promised fans that the legendary footballer will score in the la Liga games.
Barcelona has just finished its preseason-friendly games after defeating New York Red bulls in a 2-0 win. According to Xavi there’s nothing to worry about as it is sometimes normal for a player not to score always, he further said that Lewandowski has been performing really well in training and he believes he will do incredibly well for the club, the same thing happened to Luis Suarez and french Torres. He believes Lewandowski has much more to offer the club than just scoring.
“He has been scoring in training, as the ball was going in yesterday and then today it didn’t, but it’s normal,” Xavi told reporters, speaking of Lewandowski after the Saturday night win.
“The same thing also happened with Luis Suarez or Ferran Torres when they arrived.
“He is going to score goals, even though he brings much more than goals.
“I think Raphinha will help us a lot too, as he is a spectacular signing for this season and future ones.”

“I don’t [know] if there will be more, it all depends on the financial fair play and the finances.
“There will be exits and I’ve been clear about that.”
