Lisandro Martinez, a Manchester United defender, and Cristian Romero Tottenham Hotspur defender are to travel to Miami for Argentina’s friendly match with Honduras in the early hours of Saturday morning, before their match with Jamaica commences four days later in preparation for the World cup games which is to start in November with Argentina facing Saudi Arabia in the first group stage.
Unfortunately, Martinez and Romero have been unable to get their Visas processed as England’s embassy is shut down due to the international break in tribute to the late queen Elizabeth II. Lionel Messi has reunited with their other teammates in Miami.
It has been a wonderful season for Lisandro, who recently just moved to Manchester United in a €55m deal, he has helped them win four matches in the EPL out of six, with him being an incredible defender. Romero too has been fantastic for Tottenham Hotspur, which currently ranks third on the EPL table, as they remain unbeaten this season.
