Manchester United’s defender Luke Shaw isn’t leaving United Anytime soon as he signed a four-year deal with United, to earn €200,000 per week.
The 27 years old who has had a wonderful time under Erik Ten Hag, having made 36 appearances with one goal and six assists, decided to extend his contract until June 2027 with the Red Devils.
Speaking on his contract renewal, he said that he’s delighted to extend his stay as he was when he first joined Manchester United, nine years ago.
He further said that he has grown so much in United and he understands what is needed to succeed in a big club like United.
He also added that the season has been good for United, despite winning the Carabao Cup they desire more wins and he definitely wants to be a part of it.
“Nine years ago I signed for this amazing club, and I’m thrilled to be extending my stay.
“I’ve grown immensely since coming to Manchester all those years ago, both as a person and as a player; I know what is needed to succeed at a club like this.
“We’re at the beginning of our journey under the manager and his coaching staff. We’ve been successful already this season, but we want much more. There’s a great opportunity to create something special here, and I’m going to give everything to be part of that,” he said.
