Reports just coming in has it that the court trial of popular Afrobeats Artist, Seun Kuti supposed to have held today in a Chief Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State has been adjourned to Wednesday, 24th of May by Justice Adeola Olatubosun.
The case was adjourned to Wednesday, because of the absence of the judge.
“The trial has been adjourned till tomorrow, May 24, 2023, because the judge is not around” a source had revealed.
This whole drama with Seun Kuti, started when a video of him assaulting a police officer trended on twitter, he was immediately asked to report himself to the police station, or an arrest warrant will be issued against him.
He obeyed, and reported himself to the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja, accompanied by his lawyer and a Family representative, he was later transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, where he was detained.
