The club has paid a moving farewell to boss Pep Guardiola at an over-the-top party at the Co-op Live after their post-season parade.
Only 24 hours prior, his emotion-filled goodbye after the Etihad game vs Aston Villa, and thousands of City fans flocked once more, for an appreciation of 10 years’ service to their Spaniard.
The men’s, women’s, and academy teams, alongside all the silverware picked up during Guardiola’s tenure, were present on the stage at the Co-op Live, as club legends and current stars were given each the trophy, which was presented.
Former captain Vincent Kompany walked onto the stage to present the 2017-18 Premier League trophy as Noel Gallagher received a huge applause, as he strutted on, proudly holding up the FIFA Club World Cup trophy collected in December. Jack Grealish was given a great reception too as he walked out with the UEFA Super Cup.

Highlight of the night, saw Bunny Shaw signing a new four-year deal with City Women, having been linked with an exit this summer. Meanwhile, the men’s side and Erling Haaland are all looking to continue their quest to win more silverware.
Following on from their win of a historic 20th trophy, Pep Guardiola received plenty of standing ovations during the course of the night, but only spoke two words to bring his City spell to a close.
“Thank you so much”, Guardiola said.
